Last week was a great one for shark fishing. We had the perfect weather with sun and light onshore winds. We caught four Makos and one blue on two trips. All the sharks range from 40 to 150 pounds, fun size. The inshore fishing has been really fun to with a lot of calico bass feeding I’n the kelp. Get on a trip soon as were booking up quick!
I had a great day today with three great clients. We fished La Jolla and caught about twenty five fish. Mostly cuda and bass. the weather was good with a little wind. The sun came out around ten and it turned out to be a beautiful day.
San Diego fishing is heating up with plenty to do and great late spring weather. The makos just showed up I’n the last couple of weeks! The sharks were following a large push of barracuda up the coast. The Yellowtail bite has slowed a bit but the bass, cuda, sharks, and halibut have been great. Our weather has been perfect with small south swells and lots of sun. With these conditions the water temps are up I’n the mid sixties and the pelagics are here! Lets go fishing!
